Chandelier Earrings Pearl

  • Chandeliers – Have become very popular over the last few years and are some of the most striking earrings you can make. They are a perfect style for a bride or bridesmaid. Delicate and flowing, chandelier earrings get their name from the multiple drops that fall from a metal finding.

  • Dangles - As this implies they will hang or swing from the earlobe and usually below the lobe. The length to which they hang is varied with some they even brush the shoulders. These can be made with a combination of many beads, charms and chain depending on the look you’re trying to achieve. The wig-jig makes beautiful dangle designs and add crystals for a glamorous look. An earwire or posts that have an o ring attached for the drop piece can be used.

  • Drops - These are usually quite a simple style and hand just below the earlobe. They tend to be fixed to the earwire or post, and hang in a straight line from top to bottom. They are not as free flowing as the dangles.

  • Hoops - Are basically a circular or semi-circular wire with a tiny loop one end and a small hook the other end that when connected forms the circle. They are worn through a piercing in the lower earlobe and they are one of the most simple and oldest styles of earrings displaying early jewelry making.

  • Posts and Studs -They are straight wires that go through the ear and are secured on the back with a small component called a clutch, butterfly clip or earnut.

Do you have any original patterns that you designed, that you'd like to share with our visitors?
